In reading about the Omega Cal. 1342, I found it to be a fairly robust and reliable movement that has a quirky setting set up. I have to push and hold the crown to set the minute hand and I can pull the crown out to set just the hour hand.
Cal. 1342 is little uncommon, as the crown only operates the hour hand. Minute hand is advanced with push button in the middle of the crown. Very good feature, if you travel a lot between time zones. Generic leather band comes with the watch.

It works , had new battery's fitted etc .but it seems to lose about 2 -3 minutes every few weeks. A couple of months ago I bought an 1979 Omega Seamaster Quartz. Unfortunately it was not working and I brought it to my watchmaker for a check. My watchmaker told me that he can't repair the watch because of an 'stepper motor bearing'. Sounds like the case has been threaded. For a nice watch like that it's worth getting repaired. You probably won't do much damage through normal use but sweat .
