That won't work. The SD has a protruding caseback so the case sides can look so (relatively) thin. The SD hides a lot of the thickness by the caseback sinking into the wrist. The DSSD on the other hand wears all its thickness loud and proud in the sides of the case so it only needs a flat caseback. Rolex will not replace a case unless you pay for it and agree up-front. If you choose not to, they will not guarantee it after service, but they will still service it. If you want to save your original case there are good watchmakers who can either clean up the mating surfaces, or press in a machined insert.
