With its rich amber, smooth tobacco, and succulent and sultry cardamom and grapefruit mix it became one of my favorite fragrances from the first time I sampled it. I truly adore this scent. I have Dolce & Gabbana The Only One and it is a beautiful perfume, along the same lines as YSL Black Opium, but, with way better sillage and longevity. I get about seven hours, and I would describe The Only One as most definitely a sensual floral gourmand, the notes most prominent on me are vanilla, violet, iris, coffee and rose. Yes it’s worth it. Lasts for 3-4ish hours, close projection, absolute knockout for dates and formal settings. Don’t waste it on coworkers or barflies. The scent itself is extraordinary: a little floral, a little sweet, a little woodsy, and beautifully balanced.
